Creating & Uploading Estimates
Get carrier estimates into the system fast.

What it is
Upload insurance estimates (PDF, Xactimate, etc.) directly to a project. ProTrackerr versions them and pulls out line items.
Why it matters
Estimates are the source of truth for what the carrier will pay. Getting them in cleanly is the first step to catching scope gaps and supplements.
How to use it
- 1Open a project and go to the Estimates tab.
- 2Click Upload Estimate and pick the file.
- 3Confirm the carrier and version (initial, revised, supplement).
- 4Wait for parsing to finish — usually under a minute.
- 5Review the parsed line items and approve.

- Upload Estimate — PDF / image / Xactimate export
- Version dropdown — keeps history of every revision
- Line item viewer — checks for missing scope
Best practices
- Always upload the carrier's original PDF, not a screenshot.
- Tag every revision so you can show change history later.
- Review parsed items before moving to scope-gap analysis.
