What it is
Scope Gap Findings is the analysis layer that compares the carrier estimate to what the job actually requires and flags missing or under-priced items.
Why it matters
The average roofing job leaves $4–$8K on the table in missed scope. Catching it early is the difference between a profitable job and a thin one.
How to use it
- 1Open the Scope Gap Findings card on any project with an estimate.
- 2Review each flagged item — code, missing material, missing labor, etc.
- 3Mark items as confirmed or dismissed.
- 4Push confirmed items into a supplement with one click.
Key actions & buttons
- Findings count + dollar total — top of the card
- Confirm / Dismiss buttons on each finding
- Build Supplement — sends confirmed items into the workflow
Best practices
- Review findings within 24 hours of estimate upload.
- Don't dismiss a finding without a reason — leave a note.
- Always quantify in dollars before talking to the carrier.
